Our base rig is a KENWOOD TS930S/AT supplying RF to a 5 BAND 2 ELEMENT HEX BEAM elevated 37ft./12M. The mobile rig is a IC-706 MKIIG running 100 watts to a HIGH SIERRA screwdriver antenna. The IC-706 also doubles as a backup and digital mode rig in the shack. Antennas include the Hex Beam, a 10M vertical dipole for the 10M beacon and a off-center fed Zepp for 75, 80 and 40M.
Both KRISTI and RALPH are active on:
VHF/UHF + 80 THROUGH 10 meters (propagation permitting).
Kristi chases IOTA while Ralph enjoys DXing and the Digi modes.
Modes include: CW, PSK31, RTTY, SSB, and SSTV
